Wholehearted: Heart Awareness for Women
1 in 3 women will die from cardiovascular disease — yet many still don’t recognize it as their greatest health risk.
Join us this February, in honor of American Heart Month, for an in-person evening centered on women’s heart health through midlife and beyond.
Wholehearted: Heart Awareness for Women
An evening of education, reflection, and connection
In alignment with American Heart Month and the American Heart Association’s Women of Impact campaign, Wholehearted brings women together for an informed and welcoming conversation about cardiovascular health.
This gathering is for women who seek clear, trustworthy information on caring for their hearts—especially during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women and is often underrecognized and undertreated. Our intention is to create a space where education feels accessible, questions feel welcome, and learning happens in community.
What to Expect
❤️ A physician-led heart health conversation and Q&A with Dr. Alisha Ghajar, ND, MSCP, focused on hormones, menopause, lifestyle, and cardiovascular risk
❤️ Practical insight into what’s normal, what deserves attention, and how to advocate for yourself in medical settings
❤️ The Heart of You — celebratory portraits with Photographer Ravina Sodhi
❤️ A reflective Valentine to your future self, mailed back to you next year
👗 Red, pink, or a heart-inspired touch is welcome if it feels fun — completely optional.
15% of each ticket will be donated to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, supporting research and awareness focused on women’s cardiovascular health.
This event is a collaboration between Joy Collective and Uplift, two communities focused on connecting and uplifting women on the Eastside of Seattle.
