Rome Wasn't Built In A Day

I have expectations around where my business should be.

Do you make goals and then get frustrated when you don’t see immediate results?

Patience is a challenge for me. And as I fessed up in my previous post, I have a habit of giving up when things get hard or don’t move fast enough.

And then I remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.

When you are transforming your life into something magnificent, the shift doesn’t usually happen immediately.

Change = Vision + Choices + Action

My vision is set- I empower and inspire Genx women to design life and work around what matters most

Every day I make choices and take actions towards building that vision.

And to be fair to me I’ve been focused on this as a full-time business for 11 weeks, I have attracted several clients, and I keep showing up.

But that inner mean girl gets scared and tells me I’m not enough.

A question I use with clients to help them unhinge from their judge, is “What would your best friend tell you?”

If I use that tool on myself, I hear my wisdom say:

💪🏻You are brave.

🚸You are guided.

🙏Trust.

Centered in that wisdom, I can see that I am building my foundation. It may take some time, but I want it to be solid. I can’t wait to eventually dance in the glass palace I’ll create, and for now, I’ll be patient and kind and remember it takes time to build greatness.
